Graham Jackson’s concern is with alienated man, from the genuinely diseased Al in “Pyjamas” to the morally inactive Terry Western-Hill, whose total lack of imagination and feeling places him on a lower moral scale than either Al or Will. Will Power may be crazy, but he does demonstrate an ability to feel in a world where cultural decay and moral lethargy prevail.
